2023 PA Farm Show's economic impact estimated to be at least $39 million

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An official for Visit Hershey & Harrisburg (VHH) says they believe the 2023 PA Farm Show's local economic impact to be at least $39 million for Dauphin County.

This is on par with pre-COVID numbers as the estimated local economic impact then was $39 million as well.

VHH Director of Communications & Content, Allison Rohrbaugh, said the vehicle parking surpassed 2020's according to organizers. This is how the Visitors Bureau got to the number of $39 million.

Rohrbaugh says with the success of the area's first major event of the year, VHH sees it as the next step forward regarding a trend in travelers' interest in special events.
