Bethlehem’s Riverport Public Market announced a slate of five more vendors that will be joining the fold at West Second Street on the Southside.

As time ticks by until the market’s expected opening in the spring of 2022, the Riverport Public Market continues to add businesses to populate the 24,000-square-foot space. After announcing its first four businesses back in January, the market will add five more with a taste palette from Mexico to the Mediterranean.

The market’s new additions are:

  • Assembly, a modern Asian kitchen specializing in custom-made bowls.

  • Buratti’s, a Mexican-Italian cuisine combination featuring tacos, sandwiches pasta and more from Chef Dakota Phillips.

  • Domaci, a modern-day general store with goods for all home needs like dinnerware and personal care items.

  • Rawberry, a plant-based healthy food joint with all-natural smoothies, juices, acai bowls and salads, all using fresh, local produce.

  • Zahra, a new restaurant, specializing in Mediterranean flavors, from the same owners of east Allentown favorite Aladdin.

While this is just the second wave of announced vendors, it certainly won’t be the last — the Riverport Public Market will have space for 20-plus vendors when complete, with indoor seating for more than 250. More vendors will be announced in phases until the space is fully leased, said Natalia Stezenko, asset manager for developer Ashley Development Corp.

The first four vendors that were announced in January are Batch Micro-creamery, Jealous Star Brewing Co., Soaked Winery and Tacos y Tequila Lite.
